Booking, deposits & changes

• A 50% deposit secures your date and covers initial planning, menu design, and grocery shopping. The remaining balance is due on or before the event date.
• Your event is confirmed once the deposit is received and a confirmation call with the Faithfully Served team has taken place.
• Please share your final guest count and any menu or timing changes as early as possible — at least 7 days before your event whenever you can — so Chef Selena can plan and shop accordingly.
• Life happens. If you need to reschedule or cancel, reach out as soon as possible and we will do our very best to work with you. Deposits help cover planning and shopping already underway.
• Pricing is per person and varies by menu, guest count, travel, and selected add-ons. Every figure here is a starting framework — your final, itemized proposal is hand-crafted for your event.
• For on-site private chef experiences, the client provides a working kitchen (4-burner stove, oven, sink, running water) and a dedicated workspace. Grill events must supply their own grill.

Food, allergens & dietary accommodations

Our kitchen is not a certified gluten-free facility — guests with severe sensitivities or celiac disease should advise us in advance. Menu items may contain or contact common allergens (nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, shellfish, wheat). Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and other dietary accommodations are available upon request. Selections are subject to seasonal availability; Chef Selena reserves the right to substitute ingredients of equal or greater value.

Travel is complimentary within 10 miles of Shelby Township; beyond that a travel fee is based on distance — up to 15 miles $25, up to 20 miles $30, up to 25 miles $40, up to 30 miles $55, up to 40 miles $80, and up to 50 miles $110. Farther than 50 miles is quoted individually. Outside our usual area? Reach out — we may still be able to make it work.
